I know it seems like yesterday since 2.8 was released and according to Blog Herald they are already releasing their first upgrade. Go ahead and upgrade now while the getting is good. I'm sure the wordpress 2.8.1 update is just some security fixes here and there, but better to be safe than sorry.

So far I've upgraded to wordpress 2.6, without any hitches, most of my plugins seem to work.
