I think the only way to succeed in those niches is to open yourself up a bit and be a bit more broader which a lot of Niche Marketers will say is suicide, and it could be with adsense revenue, but I think if you combine a few niches like social media, and tech toys with blogging and making money, you stand a better chance than just blogging about money – but that’s my own opinion, interested in what others think on the subject.

You make some really good points here, especially 1, 2 and 4.

Video is the next wave and to be successful a blogger will need to have video and audio to compliment the text- essentially a multimedia blog.

Twitter has been a godsend. I’ve been away from Twitter and my blog due to personal reasons for the past few weeks, I returned this week with a vengeance posting over 30 tweets and three posts in two days and my traffic is back up to where it was before my extended absence began.

BTW – proof that Twitter works? I’m here because I read your twit! Or is it tweet?
