Many bloggers and internet entrepreneurs experience slow-downs in the summer months when it comes to online revenue, traffic, etc..
Why is this? Mostly because people tend to do more outside when its warmer, but should we give up completely on our blog during this slow down season?
My answer is a big NO! In fact most people tend to write less during these slow times, but if you pick up the speed and write frequent blog posts, you will come out ahead when fall hits. Not only that but you’ll assure that your search engine rankings don’t slip.
You may also find that with iphones, and cellphone browsers traffic might not taper off as much as in previous years.
More and more people are taking their internet outside with them. So do not think just because your traffic is dieing a little over the summer months that you need to close up shop on your blog.
Now I make this suggestion as a tutor to bloggers – as a competitor I say go ahead and shut down your blog, or blog less frequently – it only means more money for those of us who keep fighting through the whole year!
Question: How many of you reading this post tend to write a lot less or blog less during the summer months?
