Everybody is talking about the economic problems that America is facing(and not just America)…

We also are aware that the major players are the banks and financial institutions, but apparently the company that used to own the internet – Yahoo is looking to cut jobs, and is losing money. They are expecting a large dip in their earnings for next quarter.

Zillow another large company is also cutting jobs. I saw this coming, as I believe this financial crisis will touch the lives of every American, if not every person living on planet earth – or at least all of the developed nations.

On the bright side Internet Marketing firms are actually doing quite well, as companies and small businesses are transitioning to cheaper more affordable online methods of advertising. It looks like there’s still business for mom bloggers(and others).

Of course as always there is going to be more and more competition. Many are losing their jobs, and I’d like to see a statistic to see how many newly unemployed start trying to earn money via blogging or other online ventures.

According Sage Lewis at Search Engine Guide over 60% of online marketers are increasing their online marketing budget while removing 80% of their offline expenditures.
